ELSA Delegations
ELSA has a consultative status with several intergovernmental organisations, is a member of various international associations and cooperates with many different legal entities.
Delegations give ELSA members a chance to represent ELSA, meet experienced professional diplomats, and experience international decision-making during sessions in the headquarters of international organisations!

Legal Publications
From legal research to linguistic editing, ELSA provides students with a vast number of opportunities to get involved with legal publications.
ELSA International oversees the publication of annual legal research groups, whilst ELSA UK and Ireland oversee the publication of the Student Comparative and European Law Review

ELSA Law Schools
ELSA local groups organise Summer and Winter Law Schools in different cities all over Europe, on a huge range of subjects, so all you have to do is select your dream destination and ideal topic!
There are approximately 40 hours of academic programme, as well as a social and cultural programme, all covered by the participation fee.
Applications open on the 19th of November and close on the 10th of December 2021.
STEP
STEP traineeships are a great opportunity to undertake work experience in a legal field in a foreign country. These traineeships are very diverse: they are available for students from all education levels, from all jurisdictions and from various language backgrounds. Each STEP traineeship is open to European students outside of the destination country and can last from 2 weeks to 2 years.

ELSA Amicus Essay Prize
ELSA Ireland and ELSA UK are delighted to announce the new edition of The ELSA Amicus Essay Prize.
The essay competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate law students in the UK and Ireland, as well as first-year trainee barristers and trainee solicitors who are currently enrolled on the appropriate legal training course.
Essays should be no longer than 1500 words and address the following topic: ‘Critically Analyse the Human Rights Elements of the Death Penalty in Relation to Mental Illness.'
