The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) is the agreement that governs the relationship between the EU and the UK now that the UK has officially left the Union. It was reached in the final moments before the 'No Deal' deadline, after months of intense Brexit negotiations. Its full impact and particularly its hidden issues will likely reveal themselves progressively in the coming years - both in a legal and a commercial context.

Scotland, Brexit and the Potential Scottish Independence

The EU - AstraZeneca Contract with Professor Catharine MacMillan

The EU - AstraZeneca vaccine contract contains several interesting clauses, such as the 'best efforts' clause for performance on the obligations on behalf of AstraZeneca, or the waiver of the EU to sue for delays in delivery. In this event, we discussed the unique context of this contract, the powerful parties within it, and the magnitude of its implications.
